U.N. Chief: Global Development Initiative launched to support implementation of SDGs

The China-proposed Global Development Initiative (GDI) can help achieve the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), the U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has said in a recent interview. The Global Development Initiative was proposed by Chinese President Xi Jinping to promote people's well-being in 2021 at the general debate of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
