Chinese president back to Beijing after SCO, BRIC meetings

Chinese President Hu Jintao arrived in Beijing Sunday morning after attending the annual summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and the first meeting of BRICs leaders.

Chinese President Hu Jintao has arrived in Moscow for a state visit. Earlier, leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, or SCO, concluded their annual summit in Yekaterinburg, in central Russia.

BRIC summit concludes with calls for greater voice of emerging economies in international financial institutions

Brazil, Russia, India and China, collectively known as BRIC countries, have called for a greater voice and representation of emerging economies in international financial institutions.
