Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has met with visiting Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in Beijing. A welcoming ceremony was held for the Prime Minister. The visit marks the first time that key members of Vietnam's new leadership have paid Beijing a visit.

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has met with visiting Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc in Beijing.

Phuc travelled to Beijing from the city of Nanning in South China, where he attended the opening ceremony of the 13th China-ASEAN Expo. The four-day event has gathered over two thousand companies, highlighting industrial cooperation, trade AND investment among China and ASEAN members. Vietnam is the honorary country of this year's expo.
