Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has held bilateral talks with a number of world leaders on the sidelines of the East Asia Summit in Laos.
Li spoke about the South China Sea issue with Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull. Li said he hoped Australia could support China and ASEAN members to resolve differences and build on consensus.
Turnbull said Australia wouldn't take sides on regional issues and hoped the South China Sea dispute could be resolved peacefully.
In a meeting with his Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev, both sides agreed to push the development of relations between China and Russia.
