Chinese Premier Li Keqiang is heading to Laos on Tuesday to attend the ASEAN summit.
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of dialogue relations between China and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, or ASEAN. The Chinese Foreign Ministry says Premier Li will call on all parties at the meeting to enhance cooperation in a variety of areas, including trade and investment, agriculture, and poverty alleviation.\
With the theme of "Turning Vision into Reality for a Dynamic ASEAN Community", the ASEAN summit will focus on the 10-member bloc's community building efforts with its dialogue partners.
