The NBA champion Golden State Warriors will try and wrap up their opening round series against Houston on Wednesday, but they will have to do so without Steph Curry. The reigning league MVP, who returned to the line-up Sunday from an ankle injury, is now hobbled by a bad knee.

The Warriors point guard slipped on the last play of the first half, and immediately grabbed his knee in pain. Curry took a tumble on a wet part of the floor and stayed down for a moment, before getting up and hobbled to the dressing room.

An MRI says he suffered an MCL sprain in his right knee and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, but that does not mean he will be back playing in two weeks. Despite missing the league's leading scorer Golden State beat Houston 121-94 and can clinch that series with one more win.
