Sports Scene bounced back with action from the NBA Playoffs, and the third contest in the Eastern Conference Quarter-Final series between the sixth seeded Charlotte Hornets and number three Miami Heat, who headed into tip-off holding a two games to none lead. On top of that, Charlotte had not won any postseason clash in 14 years -- losing 12 straight across appearances in 2002, 2010, 2014, and this spring -- a situation Jeremy Lin would be determined to help change.

Dwyane Wade and the men from South Beach looking to extend their momentum, and take another step toward the next round.

Joe Johnson to Luol Deng in the corner for three of his team-high 19 points, and Miami leads early.

But they're down four in the second quarter, when Wade pulls up for a J that cuts it to a deuce, and "Flash" would finish with 17.

The Heat would battle all the way back after half-time as Goran Dragic drills a long jumper that ties the score at 53.

That's when Charlotte's backcourt begins to take charge, as Kemba Walker gets the kiss of the glass, and he's on his way to 17 points.

Walker then spots Lin wide open on the wing, and his three-pointer puts the Hornets up by 14. Al Jefferson and the guys on the bench loving it, as the hosts begin to pull away.

Then Lin shows off his court vision by finding Frank Kaminsky, and "The Tank" gets the one-hander to go down, after deftly driving across the lane.

Lin continues to run the show for Buzz City, going coast to coast to put Charlotte up 24. The Asian American finishes with 18, and the Hornets trail the series 2-1.

In Saturday's other games, George Hill and Ian Mahinmi both scored 22 points, as Indiana evened up their series with Toronto at 2-all. Enes Kanter poured in 28 points, Russell Westbrook added 25, and Kevin Durant contributed 19 points as OKC took a 3-1 lead over Dallas and Damian Lillard's 32 points helped Portland cut their deficit against the LA Clippers to 2-1.
