Worldwide measures to combat A/H1N1 flu are stepping up. They range from prevention to distribution of vaccines.
A state judge in Brazil has ordered fans attending a league football match to wear face masks.
The match took place in the city of Cascavel, the region where most A/H1N1 cases have been reported in Latin America's largest nation.
Kleber Pereira, Santos Striker, said, "May God bless all and may we be able to keep working, in a healthy condition. Brazilians cannot suffer like this. We shall continue to support (these initiatives) so no one can be harmed."
The World Health Organization says vaccine manufacturers are on track to start delivering the first batches in September.
Health officials expect cases to surge in the fall, with the return of the regular flu season.
