Special Report: World tackles A/H1N1 flu |
HONG KONG, Aug. 1 (Xinhua) -- Hong Kong confirmed 231 new cases of influenza A/H1N1 Saturday, bringing the total to 3,904, local health authorities said.
A spokesman for the Department of Health said the new cases involved 115 males and 116 females, aged between eight months and 66 years.
According to the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, a total of 52 confirmed cases are currently staying in public hospitals for treatment. Among them, 47 cases are in stable condition, one in serious and four in critical condition.
