Q3 date shows solid recovery,
no sign of high inflation

Figures released by Chinese government on October 22, 2009, show the country´s GDP has grown almost 9% year on year in the 3rd quarter. | BizChina Special >>

China´s economic rebound is consolidated with strong third Quarter GDP growth of 8.9 percent.

The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences is forecasting annual GDP growth this year to reach 8.3 percent, while the Asian Development Bank has put its projection at 8.2 percent.

The chief economist of the National Bureau of Statistics says China will be able to sustain its current V-shape recovery, setting the stage for stronger growth next year.
