Special Report:   2007 Spring Festival

It is still one month to go before the Chinese Lunar new year, but the reservation for outbound travel during the holidays has begun to rise.

The long-distance trips to places such as North Africa, Australia and Europe account to sixty percent of the reservation. The short route packages including to Japan and South Korea are also welcomed by the travellers. This year, skiing and warm spring bath have become special favorites of the travellers.

Analysts say the appreciation of renminbi, the simplification in passport and visa applications are some of the major reasons for the boom.
