With the Geneva meeting approaching, Iran is being urged to prove its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.

Meanwhile, there are hopes that the nuclear dispute in the Islamic Republic can be solved through dialogue.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has reiterated his position that Iran should prove its peaceful intentions with the newly-disclosed nuclear facility.

Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary-General, said, "I said clearly and directly that the burden of proof is on Iran to demonstrate that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes."

The UN chief hasn't ruled out further sanctions, saying he has met with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

Ban Ki-moon, UN Secretary-General, said, "I told him that this is contrary to the Security Council resolution. Iran must fully comply with the relevant Security Council resolutions."

Meanwhile in the Middle East, the Arab League is calling for the use of diplomacy to handle the dispute over Iran's nuclear program.
