Special Report: World tackles A/H1N1 flu |

In Taiwan, primary school students below the grade three level are set to receive two doses of the A/H1N1 flu vaccination. Remaining students will receive one dose. The inoculations are expected to begin November 16th, once victims of the typhoon disaster and medical staff members receive their shots.

Taiwan health authorities say students wanting the vaccine should get their parents' consent, and have no allergies to protein or other components. Parents who do not want their children to be vaccinated should give their reasons. After receiving the injection, students should stay under observation for half an hour. Pregnant women and young children will begin receiving vaccinations the same day.
