A magnitude 6.4 quake hit west-central Argentina on Sunday afternoon local time. The epicenter was some 10 kilometers southwest of Zonda, and had a depth of nearly 116 kilometers. The tremor was also felt in the neighboring nation of Chile. So far no injuries have been reported.
