As South Korea's political scandal continues to unfold, President Park Geun-hye said on Tuesday that she will withdraw her nominee for prime minister if parliament recommends a candidate.
During a meeting with the speaker of parliament, Park also said she is willing to let the new prime minister control the cabinet.
