Syrian government forces and rebels have continued to clash in and around the city of Aleppo. The fighting has been going on for over a week since the Syrian army launched its latest offensive.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a war monitor, says pro-government forces have captured the Handarat camp and the Kindi Hospital area, north of Aleppo. But rebel sources deny the claim.

Meanwhile, air strikes have been targeting major supply lines leading into rebel-held areas, with reports saying that Russia is sending more warplanes to Syria.
