In Syria, the army says they have downed two Israeli military aircrafts early Tuesday, when the warplanes were attacking a Syrian government-held position in the country's south.
Israel claim the attack was in response to a mortar bomb from Syria striking Israeli-controlled Golan Heights, and but denied of any shot down of their planes.
The row comes amid a Russia-US brokered ceasefire in Syria. Many worry that the new incident will further complicate the situation in the country which has been plagued by the multi-front civil war for years.
