Iran's government says Russia has stopped using Iranian air bases to launch airstrikes over Syria. Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman, Bahram Ghasemi says last week's Russian airstrikes were carried out with Tehran's consent but will be halted for the time being.

Last week, Russian fighter bombers used Iran's Hamedan base to attack Syrian targets.  Iranian parliamentarians criticized the move as illegal under Iranian law.
