Fifty thousand volunteers are in Rio de Janeiro for the Olympic Games. Most of them are from Brazil. But around two hundred of them are from China.
Ding Xing volunteers at the Olympic swimming center as a translator for athletes and international media. She speaks Portuguese, English and Chinese. Most swimming competitions start at 10 oclock at night, so Ding often doesn't finish work until midnight.
A local resident told Ding she is not only working for the Rio Olympics, she is working for the entire world. Ding says she is proud to set a good example as an Olympic volunteer.
