Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang has visited the Third China-Russia Expo in central Russian city of Yekaterinburg. Wang was accompanied by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin. The two gave speeches and exchanged views with delegates from both countries.

The Vice Premier said that his visit is mainly to implement a consensus reached by the leaders of both countries last month, with the aim of further deepening their strategic partnership and promoting cooperation in the areas of high-tech and innovation.
Wang's visit comes ahead of the China-Russia Prime Ministers' Regular Meeting at the end of the year. For his part, the Russian deputy prime minister said that current China-Russia relations are at their best ever, and both sides should continue to intensify their cooperation.
