Chinese citizens resident in Serbia have expressed their pride over President Xi Jinping's visit to the Balkan state. They said the visit will benefit local enterprises and the promotion of Chinese culture. 

"Today is a day of celebration. Our President Xi Jinping is here. This is the first official visit by a Chinese head of state to Serbia in more than 30 years. Today is a special day for our overseas Chinese, our Chinese enterprises, and for the Novi Sad Confucius Institute which promotes our culture," said local Chinese resident Zhao Youhua.

"We overseas Chinese here feel very proud as our country is strong. President Xi's visit to Serbia is welcomed by all of us in Serbia. We are very proud and very happy," said local Chinese resident Shen Hong.
