The United Nations Security Council has "strongly" condemned the DPRK's submarine-launched ballistic missile test, saying it was a serious violation of relevant UN resolutions.

The Security Council said it would closely monitor the situation, and the DPRK must refrain from actions in violation of the Security Council resolutions, or the council would take further measures.
