PYONGYANG, June 30 (Xinhua) -- The top legislator of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has said the DPRK will strengthen the friendship and cooperation with the African Union (AU), official media reported Tuesday.
Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, made such remarks in a congratulatory message to the 13th AU summit, the official Korean Central News Agency reported.
He vowed to continue to support the African people in building an independent and prosperous continent.
