The opening ceremony of the Shanghai Special Olympics will take place on Tuesday. The Flame of Hope has brought tons of some excitement to Shanghai on Sunday when law enforcement officers from across the world took it around the city's 19 counties and districts.
To make sure the ignition ceremony runs smoothly, a dress rehearsal has been held at the Shanghai Stadium. The opening ceremony will last about 3 hours, and is broken down into four parts: the prelude, entrance of the athletes and coaches, performances and finally the ignition ceremony.
The star-studded performances will also involve special Olympic athletes to illustrate the theme of the special Olympics: courage, sharing, skill and joy.
