Special Report: World tackles A/H1N1 flu |

Singapore's Health Minister says he would not be surprised if the A/H1N1 flu should start to spread within the domestic community.

But with mild symptoms seen in the four confirmed cases in the country, he says there is no cause for alarm.

The ministry says it plans to conduct studies to decode the virus, and if data show that the virus behaves just like any other strain seasonal flu, Singapore will step down its flu control measures.

He's urged Singaporeans to practise good hygiene and avoid travelling to affected areas.
