More details on the fourth confirmed case of A/H1N1 on the mainland a man from southern Guangdong province. The local Disease Control Center has been busy tracking down passengers who had close contact with the patient.

The fourth confirmed A/H1-N1 case on the Chinese mainland is Mr Yang, a 59-year old man from Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong province. Yang started to show flu symptoms on train T810 from Hong Kong to Guangzhou. He was sent to hospital immediately after the train's arrival. Doctors say his temperature has now returned to normal, and other symptoms, including a cough and a sore throat, have also become less serious.

Health authorities have tracked down 75 out of the 93 people who came into contact with Yang on the train, and placed them in quarantine.

Yang Zhicong, deputy director of Guangzhou Disease Control Cente, said, "We have tracked down eighty percent of the related people. Guangzhou is in charge of finding 37 people, and 36 of them have already been found."

The Provincial Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau is tracing the remaining 18 people from the 93 on board the train. Eight are from the Chinese mainland, one is from Hong Kong and the other nine are foreign nationals.

These people are urged to contact the Guangdong Center for Disease Control and prevention on the number showing.

In response to the outbreak, Guangdong's alert level has risen to three, one below the maximum. Over one hundred hospitals have been designated to treat flu patients.
