In Hong Kong, two hundred volunteer leaders for the 2008 Olympic equestrian event have attended an orientation ceremony to launch the "Hong Kong Equestrian Volunteer Program.
The leaders are fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. For two days, they will be learning the basics of the event and how to make it a part of the 2008 Olympic Games.
The volunteers will help out at competition venues, serve as translators and provide media support.
