Here at this workshop, artisans have been busy working for weeks, with orders for folk art rushing in from across the province.

The region of Mianyang has been noted for its new year traditional pictures for centuries.

Folk artist Cheng Gang said, "Lots of people are buying new year pictures. We have been very busy these days. Sometimes, I have to work until ten o'clock at night."
