Villagers in Dingzhuang County in East China's Shandong Province welcomed artists from the Central Opera Theater with their own -- Yang Ge -- performance. The special rural dance is saturated with an earthy flavor.

And next it's the artists' turn to perform.

More than eighty artists have contributed their efforts to comprise the tailored performance. Programs cover a wide range of classic operas and traditional songs, from "Carmen", and "Madam Butterfly", to tunes and folk songs such as "Story of Spring".

The performance was greeted with enthusiastic applause.
