Wang xiulan, the director of board from Zhang Yiyuan Tea Company said, "Our sales are increasing day by day since January the 1st. The daily volume now is up 60% from the same time last year. Judging from the situation in our shops, the buying power of consumers is growing instead of declining. "

It is the tradition to eat something sweet at Xiao Nian which falls on the 23rd day of the 12th lunar month. People anticipate a sweeter life in the coming year.
