The Shangougou Scenic Area in Zhejiang Province has recently welcomed some special guests. Six buffalos have been brought in because they're similar to the zodiac animal for next year, the ox.

The Shangougou Scenic Area in Zhejiang Province has recently welcomed some special guests.

Students of art colleges have painted various colorful patterns on the body of the animals. Many of the patterns carry auspicious meanings. The buffalos were brought there by Dong Hongbing, who raised them. He says he's happy to see his gigantic friends were welcomed by the visitors, and he wants them to bring good luck to everybody who paid a visit to his hometown.
