The Ministry of Health says an Italian female tourist in Tibet Autonomous Region was suffering a seasonal flu -- not A/H1N1 flu as previously suspected. 23 people travelling with her were released from quarantine on Wednesday morning.

Meanwhile, two confirmed cases in the mainland are doing well in hospitals, as entry and exit points across the country are stepping up prevention measures. Ren Ting has the story.

The confirmed case in Beijing is expected to be released from hospital this weekend.

The two latest tests on the patient both turned out to be A/H1N1 negative, indicating she is well on her way to recovery.

Meanwhile, the latest confirmed patient in Guangdong Province is also doing well in a local hospital.

He was the country's first suspected case which was detected at a port of entry. Last Friday, he was found to have an abnormally high body temperature when arriving in Guangzhou from Hong Kong by train.

Ou Guoyu, vice director of Guangzhou Tianhe Inspection & Quarantine Bureau, said, "After finding the man with a high body temperature, our workers immediately led him to a medical room for further tests. "

On Tuesday, the man was confirmed to have been carrying the A/H1N1 flu virus.

After the successful interception, ports of entry in Guangzhou stepped up prevention measures even more. Passengers must have their body temperatures taken twice when arriving in the city. Those whose temperatures are between 37.2 and 37.5 degrees Celsius, will have their temperatures taken again, 20 minutes later.
