Hong Kong is preparing for the possibility of a local outbreak of A/H1N1 flu.

The SAR Government says if a local case is discovered, all primary schools and kindergartens will be closed for 14 days.

The Hong Kong Hospital Authority will designate a hospital for the flu in each of the city's seven districts. People in close contact with confirmed cases will go to hospital for a daily dose of Tamiflu instead of being quarantined. The new plan is expected to go into effect on Thursday.
