The Administration announced on Sunday that domestic tourism revenue hit 51 billion yuan during the holiday, up 23 percent year on year. Analysts say local authorities and tourism bureaus launched measures to attract tourists and stimulate consumption during the golden week. Measures included price reductions for tourist attractions and lower fares for travel packages.
