The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security says in the first quarter of 2009, they will hold three nation-wide employment service events. In January, there will be an employment aid week. February will see an event to help migrant workers learn new skills and find employment. And in March, there will be a private enterprise job fair to help college graduates and unemployed people look for work in the private sector.

The Ministry says the target for next year is nine million newly employed people, five million re-employed workers, and keeping the urban unemployment rate under 4.6 percent.
