Demand and supply in China's job market are both boosting in Spring, the lucrative season for employment. Many job seekers are hoping the new year brings them a better opportunity with a good future, while employers are also warming up to build a stronger team with more skillful team-players.
A spring rainfall in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region welcomed its first job fair of the year, with more than 20 thousand positions available, an increase of 30 percent over last year. 30,000 job seekers and 700 companies are bugging up to find their best match. And over in Hebei, Shaanxi, Hubei, Guangdong and Fujian provinces, major cities are holding scaled job fairs with over 10,000 attendants. In Shijiazhuang, 90,000 college graduates are hoping to start their new working life after graduation. And in Xi'an, Shaanxi province, the booth for volunteers to the western undeveloped areas were attracting a lot attention.
And the market is getting further segmented as recruiters try to get focused. For example, a job fair in Fujian province has set up a designated area for female job seekers. Guangdong Province provides 15,000 positions for experienced technicians and senior managers.
