Two years ago, he came to China to manage the business of German brand with over a hundred years of history. Since then, the company has seen a significant increase in sales volume, even under the shadow of the global financial crisis.
In Apr.1976, Martin Kummer, a journalist with The Hamburg Morning Post, paid a 3-week visit to China and shot hundreds of photos across the country, then a mysterious land largely closed to the Western world. Exactly 30 years later in April 2006, Kummer, already in his 60s, made another China tour.
Nakano, who acted the part of "Mayumi" in "Kimi yo fundo no kawa o watare" (or "Hunting Down" in Chinese translation>), has become a household name in China since 1979 when the movie premiered and created a widespread sensation there.
