With tensions still growing on the Korean peninsula, a Unification Ministry spokesman confirmed the meeting on Saturday.

Kim Ho-Nyeon, spokesman of South Korean Unification Ministry, says, "the DPRK has suggested holding a meeting on April 21st in Kaesong to discuss the Kaesong Industrial Complex business."

A South Korean newspaper report says the DPRK wants to discuss a South Korean man who has been held in the complex since last month for allegedly denouncing the DPRK's political system.
