TEHRAN, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday hailed his country's "victory" in its nuclear issue, one day after the UN atomic watchdog's chief circulated his latest report on Iran's nuclear program.

"Ahmadinejad in a message on Saturday congratulated Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei on Iranian nation's historical nuclear victory over the domineering powers," said the official IRNA news agency.
"In the message, President Ahmadinejad also congratulated the Iranian nation on their victory over the domineering powers after the 1979 Islamic Revolution," it added.
The message read that the country owes the victory to solidarity and perseverance of the faithful and devoted Iranian nation under wise guidelines of the supreme leader.
Ahmadinejad assured the supreme leader that Iranian nation and government will continue their way with strong determination regardless of hues and cries of the enemy.
Iran will more joyfully and with more motivation emerge strongly in all the scientific, economic and cultural scenes, he added.
The Iranian president issued the message one day after International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Mohamed ElBaradei circulated his latest report on Iran's nuclear program to the Agency's Board of Governors.
The UN nuclear watchdog said on Friday Iran had clarified the majority of open issues in its nuclear programs but the agency was still unable to give a definite verdict on Tehran's nuclear ambitions as the progress is not enough.
