IAEA urges Iran to continue cooperation

The International Atomic Energy Agency has confirmed in its latest report that Iran is being more transparent in its nuclear programs. But the agency is still uncertain if the programs are for entirely peaceful purposes.

IAEA Director General Mohamed ElBaradei has circulated his latest report on Iran's nuclear program to the Agency's Board of Governors.

ElBaradei pointed out that recent progress is promising, but more answers are needed.

Mohamed Elbaradei, chief, Int'l Atomic Energy Agency, said, "In the last four months, in particular, we have made quite good progress in clarifying the outstanding issues that has to do with Iran's past nuclear activities, with the exception of one issue, and that is the alleged weaponisation studies that supposedly Iran has conducted in the past.
