China: 3rd SED a "complete success"

China and the US have concluded their third Strategic Economic Dialogue, or SED. The day-and-a-half closed door meeting came to end at noon, and Chinese Vice Premier Wu Yi called it a "complete success."
With the development of trade, both sides have stressed the importance of cooperation and development in other areas. They've also agreed to oppose protectionism. Their memorandum says joint efforts will be made to regulate imports and exports, including materials for recycling, chemicals, and pesticide residues.
Meanwhile, the American Federal Reserve Bank has allowed the China Merchants Bank to set up a US branch. The fourth S-E-D is scheduled for June in Washington next year.
