Musharraf will quit as army chief

President Musharraf has said that he will quit as army chief before December the first.

The Supreme Court of Pakistan will decide on Musharraf's re-election case next week. Regarding lifting emergency rule, Musharraf says the leadership is looking into it and will see how long it's required in the country's interest.
