Baghdad: 17 killed in car bombings, 47 wounded

Special Report: Iraq in TransitionIn Baghdad, at least 17 people have been killed in car bombings, and 47 others wounded.
The first bomb went off at a commercial thoroughfare in the city center, killing four people and wounding ten.
Police said later in the day, three bombs in quick succession killed at least 10 people and wounded 30, in a wholesale vegetable market in the violent southern district of Dora.A fifth car bomb exploded in eastern Baghdad, killing 3 and wounded 7.
