Iraqi PM supports new security plan put forward in Baghdad

Special Report: Iraq in TransitionIraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Malik says a "new security plan" will soon be put forward in Baghdad. He says the new measures will target insurgents and their terrorist acts. He made the remarks while reviewing a police parade on Tuesday.
Nouri Al-Maliki, Iraqi PM, said, "We are approaching a new plan which we hope, God willing, to be decisive in confronting terrorism. Therefore, all our political, economic, media, security and military resources will be used to support the operations which the capital Baghdad is waiting for."
Al-Maliki's remarks came ahead of US President George W. Bush's televised address on changes in Iraq War strategy scheduled for 9 pm local time on Wednesday.
