The US chief delegate to the the UN's nuclear watchdog has called on Iran to "fully cooperate" with the agency.

He accused Iran of playing games over the development of its nuclear programme. He offered his opinion on the best method to maintain contacts with Iran.

Glyn Davies, Chief US Delegate to IAEA, said, "It's important to maintain integrity of a dual-track policy, both engagement and pressure. Engagement we have been working on, for the better part of a year, it has not worked to the extent that we had hoped. We will continue to try to work it, but we also need now to activate the pressure track. And so that is why the work that has been done in New York becomes essential."
