Special Report: Strong Quake Hits Haiti |

Some 3,000 students are feared dead under the rubble of a university after the devastating earthquake in Haiti. The private Groupe Olivier and Collaborateur university was a large, three story building in the Nazon area of Port-Au-Prince. Students had just returned to the building after a meal when the quake struck. Bodies have been seen laying in the street near the university, some smoldering from post-earthquake fires.

Jean-francois Leganier, Owner of G.O.& C. University, said, "There are 3,000 students inside the G.O.C. I believe the dead bodies you can see are just a small number. But there are a lot more still under the debris. This is a costly loss. We had just finished paying the mortgage. Everyone in this neighborhood has lost everything."
