Bombing suspect, Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdul-mutallab, has been moved to a US federal prison in Milan, 80 kilometers outside Detroit.

A court hearing for Abdul-mutallab was canceled Monday in Detroit on a request by the government to obtain a DNA sample from him. The 23-year-old man is charged with attempting to blow up a Delta Airlines passenger plane as it approached Detroit en route from Amsterdam. Abdul-mutallab has told investigators that al Qaeda operatives in Yemen gave him the explosive device and told him how to detonate it.
