2010-02-26 13:33 BJT

South Korean chief nuclear negotiator has met with US special nuclear envoy Stephen Bosworth at the foreign ministry in Seoul. They exchanged views on progress made during their recent trips in China.

The Beijing meeting concerned the future of the stalled six party talks.

The South Korean envoy says efforts have been made in the direction of resuming the stalled six party talks, but so far there is no sign the talks will be restarted immediately.

Bosworth is expected to meet South Korean Unification Minister Hyun In-Taek on Friday, and then depart for Japan.
