Talks between South Korea and the DPRK have produced no substantial results regarding operations at a joint industrial complex.

The two sides failed to reach agreement in their first inter-governmental meeting this year. The South proposed discussing transportation, communication and a customs system at the joint park in the border town of Kaesong, while Pyongyang insisted that wage increases should be discussed first. A South Korean official agreed to include the issues in future talks.
