Special Report: Strong Quake Hits Haiti |

A strong aftershock has hit Haiti, hampering the country's recovery efforts. The tremor sent people running into the streets.

The 5.9 aftershock struck after daybreak, rattling already shattered buildings. There were no immediate reports of further damage, but it's hard to tell in a city of ruins.

Vital Melho, Port-au-Prince Resident, said, "This morning when the earthquake struck I was in the shower. I ran outside and I got my 10-year old. He was sleeping and I took him with me. I didn't really panic because we have had many aftershocks."
